Join us for this session to learn more about Drupal, a free and open source modular content management. Drupal is a highly extensible and well-supported system with a large and growing user base. Drupal also uses a modular theming system that allows custom-written themes to be added without disturbing the core CMS.
Drupal has a wealth of ""modules"" available that adds functionality to the system. Many of these modules are built and maintained by the core Drupal developers, and many others are "contributed modules" which are written by the larger Drupal user community. During this session we will review some of the most popular modules used by non-profits and business to accomplish their business objectives, including:
- Doing it Right - Getting started with Drupal, common pitfalls & cases
- Looking Good - Using Themes in Drupal
- Creating Traffic - Search optimizing a Drupal website
- Taking Money - Developing a transactional website with Ubercart
- Keeping Track - Using CiviCRM for CRM (client relationship management)
