Building a new "WebFirst" Platform for the Christian Science Monitor

Presented by Kelly Tetterton & Fred Salchli

The Christian Science Monitor is an international news organization that delivers thoughtful, global coverage via its website, print and other media. They needed to move their daily print edition completely online, and create a new process allowing content contributors to intuitively publish articles online, around around the clock.

In this session, we will review how Duo provided functionality lacking in their previous CMS, the issues discovered during a massive content migration, and the customization required of editing and workflow interfaces to allow for more effective content organization and greatly expanded functionality on both the backend and front-facing site.
